But here's the thing: Liam's story isn't rare. It's one of thousands happening right here in West Michigan, every single year. Kids who need the right equipment to go to school. Adults who need it to go back to work. Seniors who need it to stay in their own homes. Every one of them has a Liam moment. A before and after. Since our founding, Renew Mobility has provided more than 16,000 pieces of mobility equipment to people in need at no cost. Today, we're facing a critical moment. The need continues to increase. For over 6 years, Mark has generously dedicated his time and effort to supporting our mission here at Renew Mobility. In his role, he assists with the cleaning and repair of equipment, helping ensure every item is safe, reliable, and ready to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Mark originally began volunteering because he wanted to help people gain access to the equipment they need. That purpose has continued to guide him throughout his time with us, as he still volunteers about 2 hours each week. When asked why he continues to volunteer, Mark shared a simple but powerful reason: “The need still exists.” ❤️ One of Mark’s favorite parts of volunteering is working alongside the supportive and welcoming office team, which makes his experience even more rewarding. ✨ Mark, thank you for your long-standing dedication and the care you bring to everything you do. 🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Linda 🌟 We’re continuing o 🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Linda 🌟 We’re continuing our Volunteer Appreciation celebrations by recognizing another incredible member of our Renew Mobility family—Linda! For the past 6 years, Linda has been sharing her time and talents to make a real difference. From cleaning and repairing equipment to helping fit mobility devices for children and adults, she plays a huge role in making sure every piece of equipment is ready to change someone’s life. You’ll also find her lending a hand at repair days and community pop-ups! Before joining Renew, Linda spent 36 years working with children with disabilities. After retiring, she knew she still wanted to give back—and found the perfect place. Linda loves helping others—especially fitting equipment for children—and being part of such a welcoming and supportive team. ✨ Linda, your kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed.
