💛 Meet Alex💛 A wheelchair user since age 5, Alex 💛 Meet Alex💛

A wheelchair user since age 5, Alex was constantly outgrowing his chair—making everyday life uncomfortable and unsafe.

Thanks to Renew Mobility, he now has a properly fitted wheelchair that keeps him supported and secure. He can even ride the school bus again 🙌

“This has made such a difference for our family. He’s finally comfortable and safe.”

✨ It’s more than mobility—it’s independence.

💜 Meet Raya 💜 Raya was diagnosed with trisomy 18 💜 Meet Raya 💜

Raya was diagnosed with trisomy 18 before she was born, and her family was told she may only live a few minutes after birth. With support from the team at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, they learned that children with trisomy 18 can live joyful and meaningful lives.

Today, Raya continues to show her strength every day. Before receiving equipment from Renew Mobility, she used a regular stroller that didn’t provide the support she needed. Now, with her adaptive stroller and stander, Raya can sit upright, build strength, and explore the world around her.

“These things bring joy to our daughter and give her a sense of normalcy.” 💜

✨ Stories like Raya’s remind us how meaningful the right equipment can be.

✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Bryan! ✨ For the past 6 mo ✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Bryan! ✨

For the past 6 months, Bryan has been volunteering as a driver, dedicating about 6 hours each week to delivering mobility and independence to our community.

He joined Renew in retirement, looking for a meaningful way to give back — and hasn’t looked back since. 💙

His favorite part? Seeing the smiles on clients’ faces and having short, meaningful conversations along the way.

“It’s a wonderful group of people doing a wonderful service… every hour is inspirational.”

Fun fact: Bryan is almost 75 and still learning golf ⛳ (frustrating at times, but he loves it anyway!)

We are so grateful for volunteers like Bryan who help keep our mission moving. 🙌

💜Meet Gwenetta💜 After moving from California to W 💜Meet Gwenetta💜

After moving from California to West Michigan, Gwenetta faced overwhelming challenges navigating Medicaid and healthcare. Confusing letters, rising costs, and anxiety made everyday life stressful.

Thanks to a referral from Senior Neighbors, Gwenetta connected with Renew Mobility, where she received a bath chair that brought her more than convenience — it brought safety and peace of mind.

“The bath chair eases my anxiety and helps me feel safe,” Gwenetta shared.

✨ A simple piece of equipment can make a powerful difference. We’re honored to support Gwenetta on her journey.
